Jennie Shortridge loves to cook and loves to eat, and has been called a "good eater" by one, if not both, grandmothers. Throughout her varied work life, she has worked as a plumber, sung in rock-and-roll bands, cooked in the occasional cafe, developed recipes for Mountain High Yoghurt, and written for magazines including Mademoiselle and Glamour. Eating Heaven is Jennie's second novel and she is currently at work on her third. She makes her home in Seattle, Washington with her husband and two eccentric but charming cats.
