About the Author

Elaine Pinkerton is the daughter of Richard and Reva Beard, whose epic correspondence she collected and edited for the book, From Calcutta with Love. Elaine's latest work, Beast of Bengal, is a thriller set in 1940s Calcutta.She is also the author of The Santa Fe Trail by Bicycle and Santa Fe on Foot. She has published features in Family Circle, New Mexico Magazine, Runner's World, Frontier, Western World, and On the Run. Elaine lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with her husband, Robert.

About the Book
